Step 4: Choosing a Song.
Students will meet in groups to choose a song they their group will create a music video for. All music must have lyrics that are school appropriate and content must meet all MHS rules and guidelines.
Step 5: Students will brainstorm ideas and create a treatment for their music video. Review ideas and help students choose the best option.

Day 3-5:
Step 6: Create Music Video Treatment
1. Review Song Selection
2. What do the lyrics say? What ideas come to mind?
3. Decide on a final idea
4. Create a Storyboard/Shot List (include actions, locations, lyrics, visuals, etc.) Will you have just action or lip sync as well?
5. Make sure you have your own unique take on the video

Take your storyboard and start deciding what type of shot each one will be. Turn this in for approval.

- Make sure shots follow your shotlist/storyboard
- Make sure you have proper equipment
- Make sure everyone is fulfilling their roll on the production team
Day 12-16:
POST PRODUCTION

- Pull all footage into a folder on the desktop
- Begin pulling footage into Premiere Pro
- Clips must be cut short and re-arranged for variety: RECOMMENDED--4 seconds each or less applied throughout the song
- Make sure actions/lip sync match up with music
- TO SYNCH video with song:
- Pull video of person singing to timeline
- Cut it down so it will start right when you want it to
- Slide that clip until it is perfectly timed to the song.
